Geneva; Bonnie W. Tennies, 79 of Geneva passed away Saturday October 13, 2012 surrounded by her loving family

Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 18) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Phil Tennies will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Bonnie was born on January 1, 1933 in Geneva the daughter of the late Donald and Margaret Dwyer Watson. Bonnie was a life resident of Geneva who was devoted to her children and grandchildren and enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary McClelland of Waterloo and Barbara (Richard) Daigneault of Suffolk, VA; four sons, Donald (Sherri) Tennies of Geneva, Norman Tennies III of Shortsville, Robert Tennies of Watertown and David Tennies of Geneva; grandchildren, Kevin Jr. (Courtney) and Margaret McClelland, Christopher Tennies, William (Candice) and Alexander Randall, Joshua Tennies and Kaleigh Tennies; great-granddaughter, Kiera; a sister, Mary Margaret (Richard) Follett of Rochester; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bonnie was predeceased by her husband, Norman Tennies, Jr. and a son-in-law, Kevin McClelland, Sr.
