GENEVA- Amy E. Bossard, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 1, 2023 at home.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday (April 5th) from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Private services and burial in Glenwood Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Amy’s name may be made to a charity of choice.
Amy was born in Geneva on October 14, 1974 the daughter of Jim and Candee (Kane) Trickler. She graduated from Geneva High School class of 1992 and SUNY Brockport with a teaching degree.
In her early working career Amy worked at the Geneva General Child Care Center, Waitress at Club 86, Uncle Joe’s, and for nearly the past 20 years presently a Teacher’s Assistant for the Geneva City School District.
Amy was a devoted mother to her son and daughter and their sporting events. She was a member of the American Legion Winnek Post 396 Woman’s Auxiliary, active member in the CSEA. Amy had close friends in her circle and many more she loved dearly. She enjoyed having long conversations with friends on the phone, many of them late at night.
Amy is survived by her husband Josh; her son, Parker and her daughter, Emma; parents Jim and Candee Trickler; siblings, Michelle Trickler Naeye, Jeffrey (Nicole) Trickler, Bryan Trickler, Jim (Mary Beth) Alexander; nieces & nephews, Tayler, Alex and Jordan Naeye, Cooper and Nicholas Trickler, Jacob Trickler, Samantha and Sophie Alexander; mother-in-law and father-in- law, Karen and Bruce Bossard; brother-in-law’s, sister-in-law’s, aunt, uncles and cousins.
