GENEVA– Annette O. “Ann” Nelan, age 75, of Penn Yan passed away on Tuesday September 11, 2018 at home.

Family and friends may call from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Sunday (Sept. 16) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High Street, Geneva. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held on Monday (Sept.17) at 1:00 pm in Brookside Cemetery Snell Rd. Geneva.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.

Ann was born on April 29, 1943 in Farmersville, NY the daughter of the late A. Nelson and Ada Harrison Roblee. Ann was a long-time seamstress working for many years at Finger Lakes Laundry and retired from Allison’s Clothing in Geneva.

She was a member and Vice President of the Geneva Woman’s Club and a member of the Red Hat Society. Ann loved playing cards at the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus.

She is survived by a daughter, Priscilla (Jamie) Dianetti of Macedon; a son, Tom (Janette) Nelan of Penn Yan; grandson, Jacob Nelan of Macedon; brother, C. Marvin (Sharron) Roblee of Leroy; sisters, Judy Roblee of Warsaw, Barbara (Thomas) Gillen of El Paso, TX and Yvonne (Michael) Moore of East Bethany; sister-in-law’s, Diane Roblee of Batavia and Sue Roblee of Leroy; several nieces and nephews.

Ann was predeceased by her parents; husband, Richard A. Nelan; brothers, Larry Roblee and Darrel Roblee; sisters, Sharon Nuciola and Janice Roblee.
