Obituary for Howard E. Meaker
GENEVA- Howard E. Meaker, age 85 of Geneva passed away on Sunday October 31, 2021 at home.
Family and friends may call on Saturday (Nov. 6) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will follow calling hours at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.

Howard was born on December 4, 1935 in Geneva the son of the late Howard A. and Florence (Moiser) Meaker. He retired from the New York Telephone Company after 38 years with the Company.
Howard was a very active life member of the Hydrant Hose Company of the Geneva Fire Department, serving in many positions including Lieutenant, Captain, Board of Directors, Fire Commissioner and Assistant Fire Chief.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years Elizabeth; daughters, Sherry (Fred) Coston, Sheila (Mark) Meaker-Lenk, Shelly (Darryl) Marquart; grandchildren, Tyler Marquart, Hallie (Jon Manwarren) Marquart; faithful companions, Biscuit and Brandy; several nieces and nephews.
Howard was predeceased by his son, Craig Meaker; grandson, John Fenner II; sisters, Barbara Stenzel, Joan Meaker.
