Obituary for Ida L. Ciardi
GENEVA- Ida L. Ciardi, age 104, passed away peacefully on Thursday September 23, 2021 at the Geneva Living Center North.
There will be no prior calling hours. Private Graveside Services and burial will be held on Tuesday (Sept. 28) at St. Rose Cemetery in Shortsville. Rev. Anthony Amato will officiate.

Ida was born in Manchester on December 5, 1916 the daughter of the late Graziano “Frank” and Nazzarena (Candidori) Liberati. She retired after 25 years from Garlock, Inc. in Palmyra
Ida was a former active member of St. Dominic Church in Shortsville. She loved to sew, crochet and cook for all the kids in the family.
She is survived by her daughter, Gloria (Ron) DiPaula of Geneva; granddaughters, Anita (Kevin) Cowles of Geneva, Lori (Roger) Westerman of Palmyra, Diane (Mike) Riker of Geneva; great-grandchildren, Nicholos, Ryan, Alexa, Mackensi, Lauren, Angela, Kyle; great-great- grandson, Cooper; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ida was predeceased by her husband, James Ciardi who passed away in 1964; sister, Leta Marino; brothers, John Liberty, Geno Liberty
