Obituary for Patricia J. Brooks
PHELPS/GENEVA- Patricia J. Brooks, 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday August 19, 2021 at home.
Friends and family may call on Wednesday (Aug 25) from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Patricia was born on April 5, 1942 in Geneva the daughter of the late Anthony and Angela Reale Cecere. She graduated from Geneva High School in 1960 and retired after many years as the Bookkeeper for the Town of Seneca.
Patti loved following and attending her grandchildren’s sporting endeavors and spending time with her entire family.
She is survived by her daughters, Traci (Sean) Strassburg of Seneca Castle and Barbara Middlebrook of Phelps; grandchildren, Tyler William (Giovanna Greco) Brooks-Lambert, Robert Lee Middlebrook III, Nicholas Asa Strassburg, Kiia Lee Middlebrook; siblings, Barbara Kerr, Danny Cecere, Cheryl Cecere, Terry (Theresa) Cecere; several nieces and nephews.
Patti was predeceased by her husband William A. Brooks who was her forever & always; in-laws Ace and Lucy Brooks, sister-in-law, Helen (Lee) Maynard; brother-in-law, Robert C. Kerr; nephew, Robert C. Kerr, Jr.; sibling Dan Cecere.
