Paul Emil Manslank 70 of Metairie, LA was received by our Lord on September 22, 2021, at East Jefferson Hospital, Metairie, LA. Paul was born December 2, 1950 in Newark NY, the eldest son of Frank T. and Caroline (Hilebrandt) Manslank.
Paul graduated from Geneva High School, Class of 1970. Following Graduation he moved to New Orleans LA. It was there Paul met and married the love of life Cinthia Capriotti. It was there also he found his love for cooking. Paul attended and graduated from Delgado College School of Culinary in 2003. He was a Chef at such restaurants as Moran’s Riverside, Bella Luna Vincent’s Paris Casino, Harrahs Casino and Carmine’s Italian and Seafood Restaurant.
Friends and family enjoyed his talents every Sunday where he would prepare his latest creation during football season. All while watching his beloved New Orleans Saints.
In addition to his Parents, Paul was predeceased by his sister Trudy (Boughton) Jones and Brother-in-Law Henry Jones.
Surviving in addition to his wife Cinthia (Capiotti) Manslank, are his son Todd Cummins and his wife Terry of Bend Oregon, Three grandchildren, Sean, Leila and Nick. Brother in Law, Gino Cappiotti and his wife Selena of Metairie LA, one brother Ted Manslank of Geneva NY, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration and Remembrance of Paul’s life was held on September 28, 2021, eulogized by ministers Daron and Debbie Hannan, attended by many friends and family.
