Obituary for Ramona W. Perry

GENEVA – Ramona W. Perry, age 88 of Geneva passed away on Tuesday January 4, 2022 at her home surrounded by family.

Friends and family may call on Saturday (Jan. 8) from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis deSales Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Peace Parish, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Ontario County Humane Society.

Ramona was born on September 29, 1933 in Dansville, NY the daughter of the late Gordon and Anna McLane MacNaughton. She graduated from Geneva High School. In 1952 Mona married Joseph P. Perry and raised 7 children in the home they built in Geneva. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish.

Mona was a Home Health Aid for many years and best known as a Christmas Around the World Sales Representative. She was also well known for Sunday Macaroni. Mona was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her large family and attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events.

She is survived by three daughters; Deborah (Kenneth) Fulton, Robin (Barry) Hagadorn, and Lori (John) Guinan; four sons, Eugene (Carole) Perry, Mark (Joan) Perry, Joseph P. (Suzanne) Perry and Andrew (Amy) Perry all of Geneva; grandchildren, Jason Fulton, Jill Combs, Amber and Frank Hagadorn, Erin, Anna, and Michael Guinan, Amy (Ron) Cecere, Joseph J. (Jay Smith) Perry, Adam Garlick, Hannah (Patrick) Dupuy, Margot Perry, Devin (Audrey) Perry, Taylor (Bren) Shane, Jacob and Angelina Perry, Nick, Alex, Erica, Monica and Olivia DiDuro; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Morgan and Brooke Racicot, Lauryn and Hailey Fulton, Connor, Jack and Susan Cecere, Kaitlyn Combs, Joseph Shane and Rose Perry; sister-in-law, Allyn Perry; several nieces and nephews

Ramona was predeceased by her husband of 59 years Joseph P. Perry; an infant daughter; granddaughter, Jordana Fulton; sisters, June (Sam) Zaso and Diane (Darryl) Bailey.
