Obituary for Thomas J. Lynch
GENEVA- Thomas J. Lynch, 27 of Rochester passed away on Thursday May 27, 2021 unexpectedly at home.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday (June 2) at 12:00 p.m. at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Peace parish
Thomas was born on March 2, 1994 in Geneva the son of Michael and Carol Colizzi Lynch. He graduated from Geneva High School in 2012 and from Hobart College with a BA degree in 2016. He worked as a General Manager in the Hospitality Industry throughout the Finger Lakes.
Thomas had a love for hockey, boating, fishing, snowboarding, traveling and spending time with his family in the Adirondacks.
He survived by his parents, Michael and Carol of Geneva; maternal grandparents, Richard and Nancy Colizzi of Geneva; aunts and uncles, Daniel Lynch of Geneva, John (Peggy) Lynch of Geneva, Kathleen (Joe) DeMaria of Geneva, Mary (Tom) DeMaria of Geneva, Christopher (Tracy) Lynch of Green Valley, AZ, Bernard Jr. (Mylene) Lynch of Geneva, Nellie (Joe) Puma of Geneva, Cindy (Richard) Kerr of Geneva, Lynn (Jeff) Mattoon of South Lake Tahoe, CA; cousins, Rachel (Sam Fuller), Megan and Anna Kerr, Liz, Nick(Amanda) and Mike DeMaria, Amanda (Seth) Urban and Maura (Kellen) Gambeski, Joe and Sam Puma, Bill (Kate) Lynch Grace (Bill) Dean, Matt Lynch, Megan (Everett Case) Lynch; Patrick (Jordan) Lynch, Brighid (Gray) Bauerle, Kevin (Steph) and Daniel (Kelly) Lynch, Bernie III and Jack Lynch; special friend, Ginger
